A proud Indianapolis native with roots in South Texas, Chef Erica Logan brings passion, curiosity, and heart to the kitchen at Commission Row. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in St. Louis, Erica began her culinary journey at the iconic steakhouse Dierdorf & Hart’s, where early mentorship and encouragement helped shape her creative spirit and commitment to the craft.
With over 14 years in the hospitality industry, Erica’s career has included formative time at standout local kitchens like Black Market—an experience that ignited her love for bold ingredients and seasonal inspiration. Her menus are deeply personal, drawing from global travels with her father, cherished family recipes passed down from her grandmothers, and the emotional power of food to connect people across cultures.
Outside the kitchen, Erica enjoys quiet moments with her dog, Meatball, thrift shopping (especially for unique salt and pepper shakers), baking, and summer kayaking adventures. With a balance of refined technique and soulful storytelling, Chef Logan continues to bring her distinctive flavor to the Indianapolis dining scene—one thoughtful dish at a time.
